Bio
Hello. My name is Zorro, and I am a doggie. My mommy is Kate, and my daddy is Craig. They are my people. I live in a house in Massachusetts, and I am allowed on the furniture so there are many comfy places for me to sleep. I also have many dog beds that I can use. I am a very lucky boy! I enjoy chewing bones, peeing on the bushes outside, and sniffing things. I am a pioneer in the field of sniffology.

I do not like thunderstorms, and I think they should be banned.

I was a sato, which is a stray dog in Puerto Rico. I was rescued by the organization Save-A-Sato and sent up here because there is little hope of adoption in Puerto Rico itself. The nice people at the Buddy Dog Humane Society took me in, and that's where my people found me. When they first got me they said it seemed like I responded better to Spanish than to English, but I got comfortable with English in no time.

(Lots of times people don't think of going to a shelter to adopt a dog, or if they do they want a puppy and not an adult dog. Adult dogs are very good, easier to housetrain, and are less likely to try to eat your shoes. I was five years old when my people adopted me and they say I am the best doggie ever, which I know is true. So if you are thinking about adopting a doggie, please consider an adult one instead of a puppy! And always go to a rescue group. Every time you adopt a homeless pet, you save a life! My mommy says, "To find rescue doggies in your area, you can look in the phone book, ask around, or go to Petfinder.com for a comprehensive listing." It is good advice!)

In February 2006, I got a new little brother! He is a Golden Retriever named Cruiser, and he is four years younger than I am. My people adopted him through a rescue group called Pets in Need. They first learned about him from Petfinder. I like him a lot and he likes me. We both like to play and to snuggle. Sometimes I let him post here--but only sometimes!

Just before Halloween 2008, a new doggie named Sugar came to live with us. She was a foster dog at first but now she is our sister and part of our pack. She is not allowed to post here because she is a whippersnapper.
